Alan joined Richard L. Scott Investments, LLC in July 1999 and co-manages the public equity portfolio. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment decision-making process including all elements of due diligence. Alan is currently a director of Airco Industries, Inc. He was previously a director on the board of Media Sciences International Inc. (NASDAQ: MSII) where he served on the Compensation Committee and was Chairman of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. From 1995 to July 1999, Alan was with Arthur Andersen LLP. At Arthur Andersen, Alan worked for both the Assurance and Financial Buyer's Practices and in his last position he served as a Supervisory Senior Consultant in their Business Fraud and Investigation Services Unit. Alan received an undergraduate degree in History from Bucknell University and a MBA from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
